Friends of Mirboo North Library Bi Monthly meeting
The Friends of Mirboo North Library is a local community based organisation. We provide support and assistance to library staff, helping to improve the library's service to the local community. As well as providing a general forum for discussion on library matters, the Friends have an important role in making representations to Myli and the South Gippsland Shire on the needs and wishes of the community of Mirboo North and surrounding areas.
In recent years, the Friends have provided thousands of dollars through fundraising efforts to purchase new reading materials and educational resources for use in the library.
We meet at 5pm on the first Thursday of every second month at the library. Individuals, families - anyone interested in their library - can join the Friends. By supporting the friends, you are supporting the libarary and all its programs. The Friends of Mirboo North Library always welcomes new members.
