Join Drouin Library for a SPECIAL Book Week STORYTIME with special guest WARRAGUL MUNICIPAL BAND providing live music. Dress up as your favourite book character and share in Book Week stories, songs and craft.

Nestled within the scenic Shire of Baw Baw, our ensemble embodies a tradition of brass music that resonates with the spirit of community and excellence. With roots stretching deep into our musical heritage's rich soil, we've cultivated a diverse and passionate group of musicians. From the mighty blasts of cornets to the deep melodies of trombones, all underscored by the rhythmic essence of percussion, our band is a living tapestry of sound and soul.

For over 140 years the Warragul Municipal Band has played a pivotal role in providing music and music education within our community. This includes a Music Education Program dedicated to nurturing young musical talent through structured, enjoyable, and inclusive group tuition - a supportive environment where beginners and intermediate musicians can thrive, develop their skills, and perform.
