Event Description:
Join us at Phillip Island Library for a session with Bryan Dawe and Marianne Latham to launch their children's book Where Is The Moon?. This event is perfect for kids who love a story of discovery. Copies of the book will be available for purchase from Turn the Page booksellers who will be at the library on the day.

About the Author:
BRYAN DAWE
Political satirist, writer, performer and visual artist, Bryan Dawe has worked on radio, television, film and 
the speakers’ circuit. He worked for thirty years with fellow satirist, the late John Clarke, in one of the longest
running national segments on Australian radio and television, ‘Clarke & Dawe’. Bryan was also a cast 
member of the highly acclaimed ABC television series ‘The Games’ and has appeared in various films including 
the hit Australian film, ‘The Castle’.
As a visual artist he has held many exhibitions in Australia and in Tangier, Morocco, where he has lived 
for the past 3 years.
After returning to Australia, Bryan has performed on stage - with his character, Sir Murray Rivers QC and
performed his multi-media talk, ‘Road to Tangier’ He is currently working on a 2026 commissioned 
exhibition of his visual work.

MARIANNE LATHAM
Journalist and film maker Marianne began her career as a news reporter in the Channel 7 newsroom. She 
has produced hours of documentaries for the Seven Network, Nine Network, ARTE France, Meadow Media, 
SBSTV and Bloomsbury Publishing. She has produced over one hundred short films on science for the CSIRO 
film unit, written articles for The Age, produced ‘A Thousand Encores’, an award-winning documentary for 
ABCTV and the documentary ‘The Posh and the Riff Raff’, currently broadcast on DocPlay.
She holds an Advanced Diploma in Screen Writing from RMIT university and had two non-fiction books 
published
