Pluto-palooza! After School Fun – Leongatha Library In-Person
Event Information:
It’s been 20 years since Pluto got kicked out of the planet club — and we’re still not over it. Join us to close off Science Week with an after-school space rally filled with creativity, curiosity, and just a little cosmic justice.
- Write a postcard to Pluto to show your support
- Make a protest sign and button badge (Justice for Pluto!)
- Check out a visual timeline documenting 20 Years of Science, Scandal, Sass, and Unshakable Solidarity!
- Explore suspicious key events and decide whether sinister planetary bodies led to poor Pluto's demotion
- Wind down with a quiet planetary read in our book nook
- Get creative with relaxing range of space-themed worksheets and activities
- Make your mark on our Kuiper Belt string line
Whether you're here to defend Pluto's honour or simply enjoy some out-of-this-world activities, there's something for every member of the family to enjoy.
Myli Community Libraries is a child-safe organisation. Children under 12 must be actively supervised by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult at all times while in the library or at Myli events. Tickets are not required for supervising adults unless participating.
